A Magical Vacation Re-Do
We were honored to help the McKillop Family from Blue Point, NY re-do their failed Disney World Vacation a year after Morgan suffered a severe reaction due to her EPP.
“While sending us back to Disney all expenses paid, Shadow Jumpers also scheduled us with a VIP tour guide which allowed us to cut down our time in the sun when walking around the park and waiting in line for rides”
FUN FACT: The McKillops were selected as part of Shadow Jumpers’ LIGHT THE MOMENT program in 2019. Before personalized experiences, Shadow Jumpers in its early years would pre determine where it would send a family and have families apply to be picked.
By 2021, Light the moment was reworked into the assistance program Shadow Jumpers has today.
“Before our trip, Shadow Jumpers educated us on strategic restaurant and indoor ride reservations to book which allowed us to escape from the sun during the peak afternoon hours.”
“They arranged for us to stay in a suite situated within the Animal Kingdom park, which is typically the sunniest and most challenging area for EPP'ers to navigate.
This arrangement provided us with the opportunity to take breaks whenever necessary and enjoy observing the animals from our balcony.”
