No Sun Sundays

From Monday to Saturday, we are in an ongoing struggle against the Sun’s UV rays. This often forces us into situations that may not be ideal for our well-being. We also might feel so insecure about needing to conceal ourselves in public that we venture into the sunlight unprotected, exceeding our limits and becoming vulnerable to painful reactions. Too often, we allow the Sun to control our emotions and our daily experiences. However, we are uniting and standing up against this challenge. It begins with reclaiming a day of the week just for ourselves. A day purposefully labeled with the SUN in its name.

There are numerous ways to provide your skin with a well-deserved rest from the sun’s UV rays as you wrap up your weekend.

Our motivation to reclaim a day of the week originally stemmed from the idea of reclaiming a day of the year.

July 3rd is celebrated as National “Stay out of the Sun Day.” This day invites everyone to stay inside in their cozy clothing and engage in relaxing activities throughout the day. It serves as a reminder for people to let their skin rest from the sun and heat.
